EKIBENYA MATSURI is a shop located inside JR Tokyo Station and it specializes in ekiben, or railway lunchboxes (bento) sold on trains or at stations for travellers on the go. Ekibens are especially popular for Japanese people because each bento contains unique regional flavors that you can only get in that particular station. There are over 170 types of delicious ekiben from all over Japan at EKIBENYA MATSURI. Part of their appeal is that they invite regional bento makers to come and cook at the shop so that customers get to taste regional specialties in the freshest way possible.
