水うちわ
Created one by one by professional paper makers using handmade Mino paper, mizuuchiwa (“water fans”) are a product born of high-quality Japanese craft and beauty. The top-quality materials come from nature: The “bones” of the fans are made from bamboo, and covered in traditional Japanese “ganpishi” paper. They are then coated by hand in a special varnish. The fans look delicate and refreshing, and to properly preserve their strength and also have fun on a hot day, you can dip a fan into water, and then enjoy a cooling splash on your skin as you wave it.
紙漉き職人が一枚ずつ漉いた「美濃手漉き和紙」でしつらえられた「水うちわ」。日本の美とものづくりの品質の高さが生んだプロダクトです。素材はすべて上質な天然素材を使用し、うちわの骨（竹）に「雁皮紙」を貼り、専用ニスを塗って手作りで仕上げられています。繊細で涼しげな見た目ながらも、しっかりとした強度を保つため、うちわを水につけて、扇いだときに飛ぶ水しぶきを楽しむ風流な遊びを楽しむこともできます。
