TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK 2014 「天才万博 TOKYO Genius Expo」

DesignFashionArchitectureProduct

TOKYO DESIGNERS WEEK is an event held every year in autumn at Meiji Jingu Gaien Kaigakan Mae (in front of the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery). As the subtitle TOKYO Genius Expo suggests, this year’s event will showcase geniuses from all around the world. For example, there will be presentations by 13 of Japan’s most emblematic architecture groups, an exhibition gathering 50 top domestic and foreign creators inspired by the works of master “ukiyoe” (woodblock print) artist Katsushika Hokusai, a display presenting the works of creators under 30 from around the world, and so on. Over 10 thrilling days, the worlds of design, art, music, fashion and technology will intersect.
