From internationally renowned artists/architects Madeline Gins and Shusaku Arakawa, this is the world’s first “anti-death housing”. The lofts, with their highly unusual design, are also inspiring works of art, intended to shock the physical senses of visitors and to make them aware of their human potential. This unit of nine lofts attracts an endless stream of visitors, and some lofts are available for residential or short-term lease; tours of the building are also held from time to time.
