Founded in 1803, headquartered in the Nishijin district of Kyoto and serving “wagashi” (traditional Japanese sweets) that reflect the four seasons, Tsuruya Yoshinobu has opened a new shop in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi area. Customers savor freshly made treats made in front of their eyes by top confectioners, enjoying a deep taste of the real Japan. With a menu that changes in tandem with the seasons, including Japanese sweets and “bento” boxed lunches, the shop offers a variety of limited-edition dishes that are also a treat for the eyes.
