Visitors can create their own unique notepad in about 10 minutes, choosing everything from the cover and type of paper to the rings and fastener. Most of the components are created by “shitamchi” (old downtown) craftsmen using old-fashioned manufacturing techniques. And it's not only notebooks – pens and fountain pens balanced for writing in comfort are available at a reasonable price, along with a large variety of select stationery crafted with an eye for sophisticated design and practicality.
様々なことがデジタルに置き換わっていくなか、自分の手で「書く」きっかけを作る文具店。店内の工房では、表紙や中紙、リング、留め具を選び、自分だけのオリジナルノートを10分程度で作ることができます。そのほとんどの部材は東京の下町の職人が加工したもので、昔ながらのものづくりが活かされています。ノートだけでなく、書き心地の良さとリーズナブルな価格を両立した万年筆やペンなど、実用性と洗練されたデザインにこだわったセレクト文具も多数取り揃えています。
