Known for its extreme sharpness and durability, BANSHU HAMONO scissors have over 250 years old of proud history as the local manufacture in Hyogo prefecture. The origin of the scissors production started as casting for Katana, or Japanese swords. Each blade is sharpened by the hands of skilled craftsmen with sedulous preciseness. The company produces various types of scissors designed to fit the modern life style, even Maiko, the apprentice geisha ladies use their razor to maintain their flawless appearance.
